Nope. This is a post about my green pants. And they're more turquoise, not pale green. I love them dearly (especially when there IS someone inside them... aka: me).
They're like my power tie. They give me confidence. I wore them to today on my way to talk to people about art schools and also show some samples of cake toppers/hand out business cards to bakeries in Austin.
(PS-Here's a gander at my business card.... I'm in LOVE. And I had soooo much fun passing them out today!!)
My green pants have been with me all over the place. I got them while still in school, and they've even traveled with me to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France! We've had quite a few adventures together. They're my go-to when my outfit needs a little spunk. They're an invaluable asset to my wardrobe.
But ya'll, I have a big problem: they're on their last leg. Literally! I'm getting nervous about it too. Once they're done, how will I fill all the voids that will appear in my wardrobe, my confidence... my sense of self?? My green pants have been with me all over the place. I got them while still in school, and they've even traveled with me to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France! We've had quite a few adventures together. They're my go-to when my outfit needs a little spunk. They're an invaluable asset to my wardrobe.
So here's what I need help with; I think--and really, let me know how you feel about this--the answer to my dilema is...PURPLE pants. Maybe even corduroy PURPLE pants... Imma think about this for a few days. Probably wait until I have a bit more of a cash-flow; and then I'm thinking I'm gonna go for it. I feel like my future depends on it. Jobs, travel, dates, etc... So much is riding on these purple pants... or maybe mustard-y yellow... blue even.... ?? I'll wait to hear from you, and go consult with my fashion peeps. AKA: my mom.
Grateful for:
Patriarchal Blessings.

Sam was so excited to see the picture from Dr. Seuss! One of his favorites. The only story I hear about more often is Mrs. McCabe and her 23 sons named Dave. Why, oh why, did she wish she'd named one Oliver Boliver Butt??? And I vote for Purple Pants. After all, every one still remembers Donny Osmond's purple socks from 30 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI had a pair of purple corduroy pants in high school. They are very powerful!
ReplyDeleteLove the business cards. :)
